Deepika was born in Copenhagen, Denmark and was brought up in Bangalore, India. Her father Prakash Padukone is a retired badminton player while her mother is a travel agent. She attended Sophia High School and graduated from Mount Carmel College Bangalore.

Salman Khan mentions about SRK's snoring

It was a pleasant surprise to see Salman Khan mention about SRK in the Bigg Boss house as he revealed about SRK's deep dark secret.

While talking to the contestants about who snores the loudest, Salman recalled that that King Khan snores loudly. 

Salman stated on the show, "While shooting for Karan Arjun, Shah Rukh, Sohail, Bunty Walia, Sushil (a friend) and I were together in the room. Shah Rukh dozed off and started snoring. At first, we found it funny and started to laugh.

But at about 3 am, we wondered what to do. We then slowly pushed him off the bed. He woke up, lost his sleep and we ended up sleeping really well."
