Come back of a Legend :Ayub Bacchu

It was LRB's first public performance after Ayub Bacchu's recovery from a serious illness. The program was arranged by the Indira Gandhi Cultural Center (IGCC) in associated with the State Bank of India in Bangladesh at Dhanmondi, on Saturday evening.

It was a come back concert for Ayub Bacchu. He opened the concert with “Gotokal Ratey” followed by “Khoniker Jonno”. Including some of his hit tracks like Ghum Bhanga Shohorey”, “Mon Chaile Mon Pabe”. The audience came to life when the band played their most popular hit numbers “Shei Tumi” and “Neel Bedona”.

The band performed signature rock numbers of legendary singer Eric Clapton's “I Shot the Sheriff”, followed by “Cocaine. Also Bob Marley’s “Stir it up” and “Smoke on the Water” by Deep Purple.

About his come back performance and the show Ayub Bacchu told, "It’s not just my comeback to the audience; it feels like I’ve gotten back my life."

LRB, a legendary name in the history of Bangladeshi band music, began its journey in 1991. The group consists of Ayub Bachchu (lead vocal and guitar), Swapan (bass guitar), Masud (guitar) and Romel (drums).

So far, the band has released 10 studio albums. Albums of the band are ‘Madhobi’, ‘Sukh’, ‘Ghumonto Shohore’, ‘Ferari Mon’, ‘Mon Chaile Mon Pabe’, ‘Ochena Jibon’, ‘Mone Ache Naki Nai’ and ‘Sporsho’. Their last album was "Judhyo".
