Kangna looks for logic in Gupta’s film

Kangna Ranaut is looking for logic in the unlikeliest of places - in a guns ‘n goonda Bollywood film.

The actress, who has been in the news for reportedly dissociating herself from Shootout at Wadala, has been telling her friends that she is upset with director Sanjay Gupta making ‘unreasonable’ demands from her character in the film, reports The Times of India.

When TOI probed into the matter, it emerged that the actress was expected to do a special song with John Abraham and Sophie Chaudhry in the film.

While that did not at all sound like an ‘unreasonable demand’, a friend of the petite actress had to say this, ‘Kangna put her foot down on the song and dance number because she believed it was not in sync with her character in the film’.

‘She plays a Maharashtrian widow. The director wanted her to do a jig while reminiscing about her past. And that too in dare-bare outfits! Does that make any sense?’

Her friend also alleges that this song was not part of the original script, and was thought up much later, to spice things up.
