Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif sizzler at Bollywood bash in Chicago

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are once again all set to entertain together in what is being touted as Bollywood's biggest live event of the year. The rumoured ex-lovers will perform in Chicago at the 100 Years of Indian Cinema Concert & Awards Night.

The stage show will mark the finale of a two-day weekend gala on August 31 and September 1 at Chicago's Sears Centre Arena.
Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha, besides dancing sensation Prabhudeva, have also been confirmed for the event. Efforts are on to rope in a few other A- listers. The two-day event aims at commemorating Bollywood through its popular songs and dances. It will kick off with a concert on August 31, which will see a live tribute being paid to Bollywood's rich musical heritage.

Leading playback singers, including Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Krishna Beura and Usha Mangeshkar, will also participate in the event.

The focus, though, will be on the next day's event when Salman and Katrina perform.

Sources inform that the event will follow a dazzling red carpet gala. Ticket prices start from $ 55 (Rs.3,260) and go up to $ 2,500 (Rs.1,48,188).

The news of Salman and Katrina performing live in Chicago comes in the wake of last week's reports that stated the two could perhaps do an item number together for an upcoming Saawan Kumar film.

Industry watchers feel this puts to rest all rumours of a rift between the two stars, which started around the time of the release of Ek Tha Tiger last Eid. The film co-starring Salman and Katrina went onto become Bollywood's second-highest grosser of all times but rumours had suggested that Salman had physically attacked Katrina on the sets of the song, Mashallah. Both stars as well as the film's director, Kabir Khan, later denied any such incident.
