Alif Alauddin has been performing in music industry for more than 12 years. In her music career, she got many offers to perform in the small screen.
But she never agreed to perform in any TV play. Now she has agreed to act in a telefilm. She finalised the matter yesterday to perform in telefilm “Banshiwala,” which will be directed by Jamal Mallik under the script written by Probhat Ahmed.
While sharing her feelings in this regard Alif Alauddin told this correspondent, “Earlier I got many proposals to act in TV play. But scripts of those plays didn’t attract me. For this reason, I didn’t perform in TV play. In fact, director Jamal Mallik has introduced my role in the story of telefilm ‘Banshiwala’ so nicely that I couldn’t disagree to perform in it. I will perform in role of my real character in this telefilm.”
Alif Alauddin will perform in role of a singer in telefilm “Banshiwala.” Shooting of this telefilm will start from July 28. Popular singer cum actor Agun will perform against Alif in this telefilm.
It may be mentioned that Alif Alauddin is now working as deputy editor at music department of Channel 71. With her own planning, hosting and direction a programme titled “Music Buzz” is being aired every Friday and Saturday from 11:15am to 2:00pm on Channel 71.
Alif Alauddin has three solo albums. These are: “Sei Tumi Ele” (released under the banner of Sangeeta in 1999), “Daak-e Aamai” (released under the banner of Sangeeta in 2006) and “Kolponate” (released under the banner of Agniveena in 2011).
Although Alif did not give her vocal for playback track, she has plan in this regard in future, said Alif Alauddin.
