Bangladeshi Hot Cinema Actress Mousumi Biography


Arifa Parvin Moushumi is a Bangladeshi film actress and director, who was given the National Film Award for Meghla Akash (2002). She has acted in over 150 films and made her directorial debut with Kokhono Megh Kokhono Brishti (2003).

Moushumi came to the film industry after winning the Anonda Bitichattra Photo Beauty contest. In early the 1990s she appeared in ads for Meril Skin Care Cream and Spin Rain Shampoo. She was cast in the ads of Lux, Angalik, Frame Tea, Dandy Dying and Tibet soap.

Keyamat Thake Keyamat film was her box office hit movie in Bangladesh. Her career developed rapidly after that. In the movie Moushumi, she acted both as an actress and a singer from childhood. In 1996 she took a break from acting and announced plans to marry actor Omar Sunny. After six months, Moushumi came back in front the camera. She acted in Golapi Ekhon Bilatey (2006), opposite Mithun Chakraborty.

She performs in TV drama. Her co-actors are Afzal Hossain, Jahid Hassain, Towkir, Bipasha, Mahafuz and others. She has released an audio album.

Moushumi runs a production house: Kopotaksha Cholochitra. She is associated with Projapoti Cholochitra.
