Economist Amartya Sen's daughter Nandana Sen and 'Ghajini' producer MadhuMantena ended their nine year-old relationship in May last year.
At the time, Nandana had told this newspaper, "Madhu and I were planning to move to New York together, but given the pace and zest with which his work in Mumbai is growing, it doesn't make sense for him to move away. We love each other deeply, we always have, and we always will. But neither of us believes in the long-term feasibility of an inter-continental relationship."
More than a year since the breakup, Nandana seems to have moved on, putting the past firmly behind her. On June 22, she tied the knot with Penguin Chairman and CEO John Makinson in a small ceremony in New York that was attended by close friends and family.
